A week after the Jeff & Carol’s wedding, I am back to Gurun again, but this time is somewhere near Gunung Jerai. Jackie & Jessy, the loving couple held their wedding day ceremoney and first night dinner at Vistana Hotel, Penang. Then, second dinner at school hall at Gurun. Despite their simple approach on their wedding plan, I am glad to get some nice shots with them. Both of them have a very natural smile and they really look alike “fu qi xiang”(i don’t know why, chinese character word got error here)
The wedding dinner of Jeff & Carol is something different from what we usually see. The dinner was held at a temple in Padang Lembu which has a Chinese Opera stage or it is called as “hee peh kha” in hokkien. Although it is a temple, but the venue managed to fit 100 tables for the dinner on the first night and about 60 tables at the same place for the second night. The events on that night were very entertaining such as ‘ah gua’ singing & dancing, karaoke and etc.. It was truly a different photography experience compared to the city 😉
It is my pleasure to have the chance to photograph Hean Seong & San San’s wedding day and dinner. I am so looking forward to this wedding shoot. From last year, I know them through Hean Seong’s brother, Ray because I am his wedding photographer and a few months ago, they invited me to photograph their Registration of Marriage (ROM) at Than Hsiang Temple. I would like to thank you all for treating me so well, and it is really glad to know you guys. Keep in touch!
